RetroRepublic - Web Review
Hi, I'm Joanne and I work for MyLaptopSpares.co.uk in the accounts department. My website for this month is Retrorepublic.co.uk . I have recently move into a new house and was looking at various site for some new furniture. I came across RetroRepublic, and fell in love with their style and range of furniture they have. Their website is easy to us and they provide you with clear high quality pictures, dimensions and other relevant information you will need when purchasing new furniture.
I purchased furniture for my kitchen and lounge which I was very very happy with. For the lounge I purchased the Tribeca Coffee Table which I have fallen in love with. Its wonderful, and has a 10mm thick tempered glass, and has fiberglass legs.

For the kitchen I purchased the Wire DKR Side/Dining Chair which have that distinctive retro look but still look some modern.

How user friendly I found the Web Site.
At first glance the website is easy on the eye and navigate. Each section is clearly highlighted with picture or bold fonts.
There is a show room on the site which takes you through some of there product range. Each picture that loads in the show room is displayed for about 5 seconds which is enough time to have a good look. However it could have been improved if you where able to control when a picture loads. The showroom could also be improved if you were allowed to go back and forth to previous pictures.
The main menus provide you with the information you need about the company, products etc. We found the designers menu especially interesting as this illustrated the inspiration that RetroRepublic had followed when producing their products. They have taken thier inspiration from various designers such as Poul Kjaerholm, Pietro, Eero Aarnio and many others.
Products
There product range varies from chairs, tables daybeds and many more. Each section has a nice clean layout with clear pictures. A description of the items is provided with dimensions and which designer inspired that design. The weight of the item is also included.
The price of the item and delivery is also provided for you on the product page.
You are also provided with the option of having larger pictures of the products, which gives you a more detailed look of the product.
